Breaking News for Non-Teaching Primary School Staff in the 2-18 Service Review

UNISON would like to reassure Clerical/Facilities Assistants employed in primary schools that we are now in full consultation with Dumfries & Galloway Council in connection with the ongoing 2-18 Service Review.  

A vibrant team of Unison Officers, who work in Education, are working together to get the best results for our members. The way forward is unity. Let’s pull together and take Service Review forward in the right direction.

A meeting is taking place on Tuesday, 6 December, at Cargen Towers.  The team, being led by Susan Martin, are keen to hear your ideas and opinions on this process. Unison representatives will be present as it is our role to protect jobs and ensure that the process is fair. Please be reassured that Dumfries & Galloway Council still operates a no compulsory redundancy policy and a promise to protect everybody’s terms and conditions.
