The Feeley Report on adult care was presented to the Scottish Parliament this week and they will be having a discussion about the report on 16 February 2021. This review will likely affect the many thousands of Adult Social care workers in The NHS, Local Government, voluntary and private sector across Scotland.

UNISON have been actively participating in the report consultations and we are pleased it includes recommendations about workforce planning to improve career progression and a job evaluation scheme among other things. The report is lengthy so will need to be carefully considered.

UNISON Scotland is setting up a working group to look at its recommendations and give our opinion about it. Any members who are interested in representing the Branch on this working group please contact the branch office.

Please take a few minutes to look at this video about the report.
