Equal Pay – North v DGC update

We wrote to all of the members involved on 30^th April 2014 we are now providing a further update on the settlement talks.

Unfortunately, we did not manage to finalise settlement by the end of June as we had hoped.

We are making progress and are continuing our discussions with the Council.  We are also examining the large amount of data provided by the Council to ensure we are satisfied with the calculations.  UNISON remains determined to obtain reasonable offers of settlement for all eligible equal pay claimants as quickly as possible.

We are grateful for your continuing patience and will write out to each of the members involved in the case as soon as offers have been finalised.
