The Branch Secretary was invited by the Annandale South Yes Group to speak on UNISONS “What kind of Scotland do we want – A Fairer Scotland” document.
The Yes Group is holding a meeting at Annan Academy on 29 May at 7.30pm and have invited UNISON members to attend. Speakers will include Jim Sillars – SNP, Ash Regan-Denham – Women for Independence, Richard Arklass – Business for Scotland and Mark Frankland – a local campaigner.

The ballot result narrowly agreed to accept the offer, however the employers group COSLA decided that they were extending the offer to cover a two year period including 2014/15 – this happened out-with any bargaining discussions.
